  • How to Share Your Story at the Arizona Corporation Commission

    It’s time to put pen to paper and author your story.  With Arizona Public Service (APS) proposing a 14% rate hike, it’s more important than ever to make our voices heard at the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC).  Join local organizations for Writing for Change: How to Share Your Story at the Arizona Corporation Commission - a hands-on, interactive workshop where you’ll get to learn and practice writing your public testimony at the ACC.

  • Urban Heat Leadership Academy

    Nature Conservancy’s Urban Heat Leadership Academy is a free, bilingual program that aims to build the capacity of Maricopa County residents to advocate for greener, healthier, and cooler communities. Participants will engage in topics related to urban heat. They will learn why heat is felt differently in urban areas due to a lack of shade, and how to advocate for change through local political systems.

  • Restore Your Rights Workshop

    Everyone deserves the right to voting, employment, and housing, regardless of your record. Arizona Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander (AZ AANHPI) for Equity is hosting a We Imagine Safety Legal Clinic, a FREE virtual workshop to help restore your rights!

    Join them online to learn more about eligibility for rights restoration, the application process, how to file in AZ courts, and get all your questions answered by our legal clinic.

    In partnership with Healthy Synergy, LLC, YWCA Phoenix is offering this 5-week virtual series of classes to equip you with the tools to be mindful and protect your emotional peace. Classes are offered virtually in English via a HIPAA-compliant platform, at no cost with the option to donate.

    (Wednesdays from 5- 6 p.m. AZ/MST) and in Spanish (Mondays from 5-6 p.m.)

    Scholarships A-Z put together a guide that will give you the resources to create and finalize your own resume. 

  • Know Your Rights for Businesses Training

    This training, led by Semillas AZ and immigration organizations, is for business owners, managers, and supervisors who want to protect their employees, clients, and workplaces during heightened ICE and police activity. Participants will learn the lawful rights businesses have over their property and facilities, how to respond strategically when enforcement appears, and how to reduce harm by setting clear boundaries, documenting interactions, and protecting workers from unnecessary exposure and panic.
