    Mass Liberation Arizona’s Emergency Prepping 101 for Black Folk is a two-part political education and practical skills virtual workshop designed to help our Black community reclaim agency, build collective resilience, and prepare our households for emergencies without fear or overwhelm. Rooted in an abolitionist commitment to Black survival and self-determination, this course provides foundational tools, mindset shifts, and community-centered strategies for beginning the journey of emergency preparedness in a time of political, economic, and environmental crisis.

    Arizona Democracy Resource Center is offering de-escalation and safety trainings for organizations and individuals interested in building a strong safety culture rooted in everyday practices of collective care and community-based responses to harm. These trainings will provide an overview of tools to prevent and navigate conflict, strengthen trust, and support one another’s safety, all without relying on policing or punishment.
