Everyone deserves to have a house full of food without worrying about when their next meal will be. Amid the government shutdown, over 42 million low-income Americans will no longer receive SNAP food aid starting November 1. More than 900,000 Arizonans won't have funds to feed their families. Local nonprofits, small businesses, and mutual aid networks across Arizona are stepping up to fill the gap left by policymakers — making sure families still have the support and resources they need to put food on the table. We've compiled a guide of resources, from Northern to Southern Arizona, if you need food or have loved ones who need community care during these challenging times. Check in on your family, co-workers, neighbors, and even strangers. Everyone deserves food and community care. We got us.
