Accelerating Arizona organizations’ missions to the next level!

At Instituto, we are actively seeking and developing tools that will foster professional expansion to serve communities in need. By developing programmatic content, the Operations Support Program & Fellowship is hyper-focused on catapulting organizations to empower underserved communities, and further, empower individuals to engage in community building.

Our Operations Support Program and Fellowship provided operations and project management expertise;

By supporting our partners in addressing their operations challenges, expanding their knowledge, and growing their impact;
By engaging teams toward an inclusive, inspiring, and collaborative workplace culture;
By providing information on tools and resources to become efficient, organized, and intentional.

PROJECT’S OBJECTIVES

In efforts to support missions that align with Instituto’s values, we have developed an intensive program to help Arizona’s communities of color thrive, by embodying the following:
🚀Supporting organizations in designing needed infrastructure that promotes long-lasting organizational practices to attain valuable and notable achievements.
🚀Offering a minimum of 250 coaching hours for at least 14 weeks, regular coaching sessions that are designed to prescribe tailored plans and goals for improved organizational and leadership development.
🚀Providing “on-call” support and mentorship for extended guidance to at least 40 percent of partner leaders and statewide organizations.
🚀Developing and facilitating 14 training classes that lay out foundational content in five (5) key operations areas from July to November.
🚀Facilitating resume development workshops and hosting job fairs to support the local need for employment advancement.
🚀Creating a knowledge repository of all resources developed with the intent of providing access for a minimum shelf life of six (6) years.
🚀Establishing an operations community that fosters trust and excellence through relationship building and knowledge sharing.
Instituto provides focused services to leaders and operations junior professionals through its Operations Fellowship, in which participating organizations will have expanded their operational awareness and gained the knowledge to build an intentional framework to reach their goals by the end of this program.
🚀Instituting an intensive fellowship program that hyper focuses on the development of four (4) participating organizations.
🚀Assess and redesign existing systems and practices for the improvement of organizational sustainability and culture success via structured 4-hour weekly thought-sharing sessions.
🚀Development of timelines and project management guidance through at least one-on-one weekly coaching sessions, regular and ongoing check-ins, and intentionally prescribed deliverables and assignments.
🚀Providing opportunities for open and confidential spaces for thought-partnership and problem-solving.
🚀Encouraging vision planning and strategy implementation for long-term organizational success for the next three (3) to five (5) years.

SERVICES

We conducted two simultaneous offerings, our 1) Operations Support Program and the 2) Operations Fellowship:

Operations Support Program

Our Operations Support Program guided the Arizona Civic Engagement Ecosystem in the following:

Supporting organizations in identifying, defining, planning, and mapping goals
Offering individual coaching sessions every week
Providing support hours
Facilitating 14 training classes. Sessions will focus on a different topic every week between July and October
Training, coaching, and mentoring five (5) areas
Facilitating a resume workshop and career days

Operations Fellowship

We also serviced a few participant organizations through an Operations Fellowship, who in addition to our services, had access to:

Assessment of operational processes and performance
Implementation of solutions for improvement
Collaboratively develop and manage detailed work plans
Extended coaching sessions

At the end of this program, organizations expanded their operational awareness and gained the knowledge to build an intentional framework to reach their goals.

OPERATIONS COACHES

We had dedicated coaches to support those who wanted to participate in coaching sessions (as well as the Fellowship participating organizations) by assessing organizational needs and assisting in building a road map to meet goals.

Our team consultants were selected from varied backgrounds in operations, and together brought over 60 years of experience building projects and getting things done!
