Our strengths

We have a team that has worked on Arizona policy for a combined 30+ years. One of our Arizona Senior Vice-Presidents, Chad Campbell, served eight years in the Arizona legislature. He was the House Democratic Leader for four of those years, working on such things as leading the effort to expand Medicaid, protecting the rights of all Arizonans, crafting tax policies aimed at helping working Arizonans and fully funding the state's critical needs, and expanding the use of renewable energy...to name just a few.

Our Services

All of the above. Our team - both in Arizona and across our national footprint - have experience in providing these services at the highest level.

HOW WE MAINTAIN AN ONGOING, CONSTRUCTIVE AND POSITIVE RELATIONSHIP OUR CLIENTS

Identify the client's goals from the outset, and build a plan to achieve those goals.

HOW WE MEASURE SUCCESS

By identifying the goal or goals from the outset, we can then build quantitative and qualitative benchmarks that are driven by a realistic timeline and budget developed in partnership with the client.

OUR STRENGTH

At Creosote Partners we lead with our progressive values to represent our clients' interests. Policymakers can rely on us to guide them in a manner that does not lead to compromise on the backs of working families and vulnerable populations.

Our Services

We offer multiple levels of policy services to fit each client's needs. These can range from simple bill tracking a political consultation all the way to coalition building toward passing prospective legislation. We are a one-stop shop for bill drafting, research, communications, lobbying, and so much more.

HOW WE MAINTAIN AN ONGOING, CONSTRUCTIVE AND POSITIVE RELATIONSHIP OUR CLIENTS

We meet each client where they are. Often, this will mean weekly check-in calls and in person meetings on a quarterly basis. During the legislative session, for those clients with higher need, our communication is daily if not more frequent.

How we measure success

Lobbying is an amorphous discipline full of different paths and strategies. Depend on the client's objectives, goal-setting is paramount to understand the scope of our ultimate success.

Diversity

We are a majority Latinx-woman owned business and strive for diversity in our hiring practices and culture. We are a small firm, so representation of every group is challenging.

Our Strengths

Because of our extensive policy experience at all levels of government, our team anticipates challenges before we encounter them, which gives the client an advantage. We are able to avoid problems and successfully champion our client’s policy positions.

Our SERVICES

We have been championing progressive policies that ensure fair elections, give a voice to working families, and protect wages for 14 years. We offer a variety of services at all levels of government depending on the goals of the client. Once we sit down with the client and identify their goals, we develop short-term and long-term strategies on how to best implement their policy priorities. These strategies include research, drafting policies and legislation, lobbying, and developing policy platforms.

HOW WE MAINTAIN AN ONGOING, CONSTRUCTIVE AND POSITIVE RELATIONSHIP OUR CLIENTS

We are honest with our clients and work to build trust. Our clients know we have their best interests in mind as we work with them to develop policy, and this has led to long-lasting relationships that not only help our clients, but also build coalitions among our clients.

How we measure success

Successfully advancing policy that others thought was too difficult or too complicated to pass is often a measure of success in and of itself. We see the ability to change minds and build coalitions through education and shared goals as an indication of success for the firm and for our clients.
