Our greatest strength

Our greatest strength is the variety of clients we have served, as well as the variety of engagement. We provide legal and compliance guidance at all levels. For example, we can be very involved in day-to-day efforts including filing campaign finance reports in multiple jurisdictions, as well as big picture strategy developing concerning which vehicle is best suited to carry out a particular mission.

Our SERVICES

We are experienced in representing clients regarding ballot initiatives and candidate filings, petition challenges, defending legal challenges, mounting legal challenges, and providing advice, guidance, and representation to clients related to the establishment, operation, and coordination of C3/C4 organizations and PACs.

HOW WE maintain an ongoing, constructive and positive relationship with our clienTs

We value honesty, trust and integrity. We are honest with our clients and work to build trust. And we fight along with our clients to protect the integrity of the election process. Our clients know we have their best interests in mind as we work with them to achieve their goals, and this has led to long-lasting relationships that not only help our clients, but also build coalitions among our clients.

OUR METRICS

We know we are successful when we have protected a client’s right to fair and equal treatment under the law, and created a path for them to achieve their political goals. Successfully championing candidates and causes that align with our vision is a measure of success in and of itself. We see the ability to change minds and build coalitions among diverse candidates and groups as an indication of success for the firm and for our clients.

TEAM TRAINING

Our staff members have advanced degrees, are members of multiple bars, and receive continuing training on key areas relevant to election and political law. In addition to mandatory continuing legal education, we participate in national legal conferences put on by the Federal Election Commission, Arizona election lawyers bar, the AFL-CIO, the National Building Trades Council and the American Association of University Professors.

DIVERSITY

Torres Law Group prides itself on its diversity. Our diverse staff represents different ages, cultures, ethnicities and languages, which brings new perspectives to legal issues which ultimately benefits our clients.

Our greatest strength

We have the most experienced group of election lawyers in the State of Arizona and have been hired by the most varied types of clients including grassroots organizations, social welfare organizations, labor organizations, businesses, federal and state candidates and campaigns, and government entities. Because we have worked with a broad array of clients doing a broad array of work, we are able to provide our clients with winning advice and strategy. Also, because we are small business (and also an Arizona-based firm), our rates and fees are the most competitive.

Our SERVICES

We provide legal and compliance services for a wide range of clients on a wide range of issues. We have drafted and defended more ballot measures than any firm in the State of Arizona, we have represented candidate campaigns at every level of federal and state office, and we have served as legal counsel to countless campaigns. We are unique in that our political and election lawyers are seasoned litigators and appellate lawyers, which means we are able to outperform our competition in legal strategy, motion practice, court hearings/trials, and appeals. We are also unique in that we represent the broadest range of clients including social welfare organizations, campaigns, cities and towns, labor organizations, and businesses, which allows us to help build coalitions for our clients as well provide advice from many different perspectives.

HOW WE maintain an ongoing, constructive and positive relationship with our clienTs

We view our clients as partners in every project we undertake. We don't have a one-size-fits-all model nor do we operationalize our services to maximize profits. Rather, we constantly dialogue with our clients, present various options, and work with them to come up with the best and most cost-efficient strategy to win.

OUR METRICS

Happy and satisfied clients, good and meaningful law and policy outcomes, and wins at the ballot box.

DIVERSITY

Diversity is one of our greatest strengths. We are the only election law practice in the state that is led by a woman of color. The majority of lawyers in our firm are women and our lead election lawyers are individuals of color.
